POSITION OVERVIEW

The Human Resources Recruiter plays a crucial role by attracting, screening, and selecting qualified candidates for open positions. We are looking for someone with experience in the fitness industry. Their job is to research, develop, and implement effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for the company. The recruiter will ensure that the organization hires the best talent available, aligning with business needs, while maintaining a positive candidate experience and ensuring efficient hiring processes. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Talent Sourcing:

  • Proactively source candidates using various channels such as job boards, social media, networking events, and employee referrals.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of potential candidates for current and future job openings.
Screening and Interviewing:

  • Review resumes and applications to identify candidates who meet the job requirements.
  • Conduct initial phone or video screenings to assess candidate suitability.
  • Coordinate and conduct interviews, both independently and alongside hiring managers.
  • Provide feedback to candidates throughout the selection process.
Candidate Engagement:

  • Act as a point of contact for candidates, guiding them through the recruitment process.
  • Build relationships with candidates to understand their motivations, skills, and career aspirations.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience by maintaining clear communication and timely follow-up.
Collaboration with Hiring Managers:

  • Partner with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs, job requirements, and team dynamics.
  • Assist in crafting job descriptions and defining selection criteria.
Recruitment Strategy:

  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in recruitment.
 
Onboarding:

  • Collaborate with HR teams to ensure a smooth onboarding process for new hires.
  • Provide support to new employees during their transition into the company.
Other duties as assigned by the Corporate team.

Qualifications
·       Personal Training and Fitness Industry background
·       Experience with talent acquisition processes including sourcing and recruiting
·       Excellent verbal and written communication skills
·       Ability to assess candidate qualifications and cultural fit 
·       Organization skills and attention to detail
·       Ability to work independently as well as cohesively and effectively in a team environment
